What is a Parish Plan?
A Village or ‘Parish’ Plan is a chance for a community to produce their vision for the future and an opportunity for local people to have their say and to influence the way their village develops. It will provide a blueprint for action to improve village life AND it will help communities to tap into grants to help fund projects that grow out of the process.

Why should you do a Parish Plan?
A Parish Plan can help you to better understand the needs of your community and to work with agencies to improve local services and facilities. The process also brings forward new volunteers.

What does a Parish Plan involve?
Undertaking a Parish Plan involves wide community consultation.  This will allow you to put together a full picture of your communities’ needs and wishes and then, working in partnership with local authorities and agencies, to make things happen.
